Journal of Augmented Intelligence Systems is an international peer-reviewed open-access journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research on intelligent systems that enhance, support, and extend human decision-making, creativity, productivity, and problem-solving capabilities. The journal provides an academic platform for scholars, practitioners, engineers, policymakers, and technology developers to examine the interaction between human intelligence and artificial intelligence in collaborative, explainable, adaptive, and human-centered system environments.
The journal welcomes original research articles, systematic literature reviews, conceptual papers, case studies, methodological contributions, and applied studies related to augmented intelligence and intelligent system development. The scope includes human-AI collaboration, decision support systems, intelligent information systems, cognitive computing, adaptive learning systems, explainable artificial intelligence, knowledge-based systems, data-driven decision-making, intelligent automation, and AI-assisted professional practice.
JAUGIS encourages interdisciplinary contributions from computer science, information systems, data science, education, healthcare, business, engineering, public administration, and other applied domains where intelligent systems are used to improve performance, efficiency, accessibility, and decision quality. The journal particularly emphasizes studies that demonstrate how intelligent technologies can strengthen human judgment rather than replace it.
As part of its commitment to academic quality, submitted manuscripts must present clear research problems, rigorous methods, relevant literature, strong analytical discussion, and meaningful contributions to the advancement of responsible, transparent, and practical augmented intelligence systems. All submissions are initially screened by the editorial team and subsequently reviewed by qualified reviewers according to the journal's peer-review policy.
